The CHERY TIGGO 8 was assessed by Euro NCAP in July 2025, and awarded a 4-star rating.
CHERY has now addressed the manufacturing issues which led to the side curtain airbag deploying incorrectly and failing to provide full protection to rear seat occupants. The CHERY TIGGO 8 is a partner model to the TIGGO 7, on which this assessment is based. Additional tests were performed to assess the third row seats of the TIGGO 8.
